A quick early morning cane run produced the goods this morning π. With no luck at the first block we moved on to another, with the nice crisp winter air moving in the dogs noses were on point flying off the ute and into the cane.
A few minutes went by and we could hear the dogs working the drills nek minnit big hit up we jumped in the tilly and flew up to where I thought he would blow out and sure enough out he came full noise. He went back into the cane but he was no match for the hounds they pulled him up about 80m in the sugar bush.
I noticed a lot of chewing and said to chubs I reckon a mob is working around here somewhere sure enough in the next block the dogs flew off hit the mob and ended up with a young boar π. Not a bad morning hunt with a good mate and good hounds.
The big fulla went 105.4kg π.
