• $135,131 •
The cheque was delivered today on behalf of our Heroes to Hub community.

This isn't just from us—it's from our entire community who, once again, wrapped their arms around our event and showed up in the most incredible way. Every donation, every ticket, every volunteer, every person who supported this event played a part in making this possible.

This place truly feels like home, and being back there with our extended family reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

This event is about gratitude, but it's also about showcasing just how powerful a community can be when people come together for something bigger than themselves. Together, we've created something so special, and we're incredibly proud of what we've achieved as one.

Once again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support continue to change lives, and we are forever grateful.

Save the date... 10 July 2027.
Until then, over and out.

Kymmie, I feel like you may have had a lost and found item too?

• MERCH THAT MADE A DIFFERENCE •
One last merchandise shout-out... because this incredible team deserves it!

A massive thank you to Julie and Paul from Topp Dogg, and Travis and Danielle from TD Custom & Apparel, for being so incredibly supportive throughout the entire merchandise process.

From brainstorming designs and making changes, to helping us create a range that everyone was proud to wear—you were calm, patient, helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way. Thank you for always making the process so easy.

On top of all of that, both Topp Dogg and TD Custom & Apparel generously donated over $1,000 each in discounts and support. That's the kind of generosity that deserves to be recognised. We proudly consider you Gold Partners of Heroes to Hub—if not even more.

Because of you, our participants and volunteers looked the part as they took on Heroes to Hub!

Our merchandise raised an incredible $4,939 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, and that simply wouldn't have happened without your support. Better yet, those merchandise sales helped us beat last year's fundraising tally!

But then... something happened that completely blew us away.

A sneaky couple from Moora quietly wandered into Topp Dogg and paid one of our merchandise invoices without saying a word.

Phil and Nola Manning... thank you. ❤️

Because of your incredible generosity, our beanies were almost pure profit for the RFDS.

It's these unexpected acts of kindness that leave us speechless. The quiet generosity. The people who don't do it for recognition—they simply want to help.

These are the moments that make running Heroes to Hub so special, and so much easier than it could ever be.

To everyone who bought a shirt, beanie, cap or pair of socks... thank you for wearing Heroes to Hub with pride and helping raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

And to our amazing local legends at Topp Dogg, TD Custom & Apparel, and the Manning family—thank you for helping turn our merchandise into almost $5,000 for the RFDS.

This is what community looks like. 💙

• TO OUR INCREDIBLE PARTICIPANTS •
How can we continue our Heroes to Hub shout-outs without thanking the very people who make this event possible?

Quite simply... without you, there would be no Heroes to Hub.

There would be no need for over 70 volunteers, no hydration stations, no road crossings, no shuttle buses, and certainly no 358 meals served at the Mogumber Hub.

Heroes to Hub is what it is because of you—the people who get behind the cause and choose to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Whether you rode in on a horse, cruised along on a motorbike, tackled the full 26 kilometres by foot, ran the course, or joined us for the short course through Nixon's property and enjoyed a stroll over the footbridge, every single one of you made a difference.

This year, an incredible 238 participants (and one very good dog named Matso 🐶) signed up to be part of the adventure.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in Heroes to Hub and for helping us create something truly special for our community and the RFDS.

Now... don't get too comfortable...

Erin already has another idea brewing for our hardcore runners in 2027! 😂🏃

• FEEDING THE HEROES •
While our participants were out tackling 26 kilometres and more than 70 volunteers were busy manning hydration stations, road crossings and keeping everyone safe, another incredible team was hard at work behind the scenes making sure those volunteers were well fed and looked after.

A huge shout-out to our amazing Heroes to Hub Uber Eats team! From the driving force behind organising it all, to our local legends who supplied the delicious slices and homemade soup, and the volunteers who prepared, packed and delivered meals throughout the day—you were all an essential part of making Heroes to Hub such a success.

Volunteers feeding volunteers... does it get any more Heroes to Hub than that? ❤️

A very special thank you also goes to Moora IGA for supplying soft drinks, water and bags of ice, and to the Moora Bakery for donating the fresh bread that made our volunteer sandwiches so delicious.

Your generosity means so much to us. Every donation, whether it's food, drinks or supplies, is one less expense coming out of our own pockets, allowing even more money to go where it matters most—the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

This is what community is all about. We are so fortunate to be surrounded by local businesses and volunteers who continue to get behind Heroes to Hub year after year.

Moora... you really are the place to be!

Thank you for helping feed the heroes who made Heroes to Hub possible.

• NOT JUST A CATTLE TAG •
Every participant received one of these cattle tags at the start of Heroes to Hub - a small token of our appreciation for getting behind our event.

Each tag was personally signed by both Ash and Gus. When we showed Gus this year's 250 tags, he laughed and said, "Maybe next year we should just get our names printed on them!"

Whether our participants needed to dig a little deeper, find some inner strength, or simply be reminded why they were taking on the 26 kilometres, Ash and Gus were with them every step of the way.

Last year, our tags were blue. RFDS pilot Mike attended the event and was given one to take home. He told us it has lived in his flight bag ever since, meaning that on every Royal Flying Doctor Service mission he's flown over the past year, our little blue Heroes to Hub tag has flown with him.

This year, the tags were red, and we'll be making sure Mike receives one when we present our cheque at the RFDS headquarters. We think it's only fitting that another Heroes to Hub tag continues the journey with him.

A huge thank you to Moora Nutrien for once again donating our cattle tags. It's another incredible contribution that means Heroes to Hub doesn't have to wear the cost, allowing even more money to go where it belongs - to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

We were also so chuffed to see so many Nutrien staff supporting us on the day. We have a feeling they may have even shut the doors for the day to come and be part of it! That level of support is just mind-blowing and means so much to us.

Thank you, Moora Nutrien, for helping make these little tags something much bigger than a keepsake.

• VOLUNTEERS •
Next comes a HUGE shout-out to our incredible volunteers who gave up their day (and some even gave up days before and after) to help make Heroes to Hub possible.

From Newhome Farm to Mogumber and everywhere in between, we had amazing people manning road crossings, helping keep everyone safe and making sure the event ran smoothly. This also includes the legends who delivered road signs out to every location—many of whom were asked that very morning and simply stepped up without hesitation to help!

Our hydration station crews were absolute superstars! They didn't just provide water and support... they brought the party! From lolly stations to balloons, decorations and plenty of encouragement, they turned each stop into a place where our participants felt supported, welcomed and celebrated. The Cash for Cans bins placed at each station also helped contribute to our final tally.

We had people on standby for vehicle recovery, helping with parking management, assisting at the start and finish lines, supporting our auction teams and manning the merchandise table.

A special thank you also goes to Penrhos College for allowing us to use their tents on the day, and to the team of legends who collected, transported and returned them before and after the event. Your help behind the scenes was a huge part of making everything come together.

This list represents over 70 incredible people who stepped up and helped turn our crazy little idea into a reality.

To every single volunteer... thank you.

You gave your time, your energy, your smiles and your support. Without you, Heroes to Hub simply would not have happened.

YOU ARE OUR HEROES! 💙❤️

• $133,877 RAISED FOR THE RFDS •
This isn't our number to celebrate... it's yours. Every single one of you owns this figure. Every participant, volunteer, sponsor, donor, business, family member and supporter played a part in making this happen.

YOU ARE OUR HEROES.

Last year, our incredible community raised $130,556.

We know Ezza loves a bit of maths... so let's do the sums!

$130,556 + $133,877 = $264,433

That's $264,433 given back by our small community to the Royal Flying Doctor Service in just 12 months. Let that sink in for a minute.

An incredible 369 donations were made this year, and what makes this even more special is that 80% of those donations were under $300. This wasn't built on one or two huge donations—it was built by hundreds of generous people who each decided they wanted to make a difference. That's the true spirit of Heroes to Hub.

Last financial year, the Moora Airstrip averaged two RFDS patient retrievals every month. These aren't just numbers—they're our neighbours, our families and our friends. So, are we giving back to the service that could one day save any one of us?

HELL YES, WE ARE!

As Reverend John Flynn, the founder of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, said back in 1919:

"If you start something worthwhile, nothing can stop it."

Looking at what this community has achieved together... we'd say he was absolutely right.

There are still plenty more thank you posts to come because so many people deserve to be recognised.

But today... let's all take a moment to celebrate this incredible achievement.

$133,877.

WHAT. A. COMMUNITY.
