โข You will learn skills from a range of Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai, Kung Fu and military style boot camp exercises, drills and combinations. All taught in a low pressure and fun way from a qualified Martial Arts teacher who also holds Master Trainer Certification from the Australian Institute of Fitness and a former member of the ADF with real boot camp experience.
โข A typical class includes a series of drills to keep you moving. From punching and kickboxing drills on bags, mitts and in the air, to footwork drills. We will focus on strength training like crunches, planks, push ups and squats with Bootcamp style circuit stations.
โข Starting at your comfort level, and increasing class by class, to increase your overall fitness, toning and conditioning to see real results.

Cardio Kickboxing is a form of High intensity interval training (HIIT) that challenges your body and mind.
1. ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐
Regular physical activity such as fitness boxing can lower your blood pressure and your cholesterol thereby reducing your risk of heart disease. Studies show that 150-300 minutes of moderate intensity or 75-100 minutes of vigorous intensity is recommended each week for optimal health.
When doing a cardio boxing/kickboxing class you are likely to exert moderate to vigorous intensity effort. Moderate means youโre at about 50% of your maximum level of exertion and vigorous intensity is 70-80%.

We use drills that provide a similar level of conditioning regular boxing. Boxers fight for 3 min rounds interspersed with 1 minute rest breaks. The nature of cardio kickboxing combines both high intensity and moderate intensity to improve endurance and cardiovascular fitness.

Cardio Kickboxing engages multiple muscle groups, building strength in the upper body, core and lower body. Throwing a punch works your entire body, contributing to muscle gain and a leaner physique. The conditioning exercises we do use a whole-body approach. You will tone muscles you didnโt know you had! We will improve your muscle endurance allowing you to train longer and at higher intensity.

You will burn calories! Our classes, in conjunction with a balanced, healthy diet will help you maintain or achieve a healthy weight. Studies show that cardio kickboxing when compared to moderate intensity walking offers greater reduction in BMI, waist circumference and body fat percentage.
The intense workout and the โafterburnโ effect can continue to burn calories even after the workout is over.
5. ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Exercise is key to good balance, especially as you age. Cardio Kickboxing can give you better agility and hand-eye coordination. It helps build a strong core which is essential for maintaining your balance. Our drills lead to improved agility, balance and reaction time.

When you are feeling tense and frustrated, a good workout can help. Fitness boxing, which is a form of exercise that has roots in traditional boxing, offers a safe outlet for your emotions.
Boxing drills can be a form or moving meditation. Punching requires intense focus and the constant moving and HIIT exercises during the class leave little time for deep thought. They improve your mental focus and can lead to improved mental clarity and attention.
Individually, meditation and HIIT offer a range of mental health benefits. Together they deliver a double โpunchโ or rewards. They offer a healthy outlet for anger and aggression. They improve self-esteem and quality of life. They give relief from stress and reduce symptoms of conditions like anxiety and depression.
