Was an honour for our club to host one of the first Sandbelt Bowls Region championships rounds for the 26/27 season, with the over 60's pairs on a perfect 🌞 Sunday! Our new greens got a great workout.

Thank you to Culum Bennington for looking after Bowlslink and venue, Andrew Tyrrell for Set up and Bar, and Ray Weston and Don Chambers helping with the end of the day's mats, jacks and flags. Great team effort!

I am sure the spectators enjoyed the games and quality bowls being laid down.

Pink Ladies Day raising money for the McGrath foundation and a new Wig Library at Leongatha Hospital.

We held our opening day under beautiful sunny skies with lunch prior to playing in a club select pairs format playing 3 games of 7 ends. We commenced the afternoon proceedings with our two Raffle winners, Mary Weston and Bob Davies having the first official roll on our new Barbara Overson green.
Thank you to all that assisted in set up, during the afternoon and clean up!
Here's to a great 26/27 pennant season.

Our Maintenance crew have been very busy this week making ditch markers! PVC tubing is very versatile, firstly spray paint it Royal Blue, then cut it into 100mm lengths. We now have Royal Blue and White Ditch markers to match our rink lines. Scoreboards have been unwrapped and placed in their holders. PVC tubes were also added into the corners of the greens for our corner flags. Thank you so much. ♥️♥️♥️

Great day of bowling with 3 wins and runners up missing by 1! Very happy ladies! Thank you to Ani Skipworth and Chris Robinson from Frankston Bowling Club and Jaye A-D from San Remo Bowling Club, what a composite team we have. Thank you to Hampton Bowls club for their hospitality and Congratulations to Parkdale on their win.

Our Annual Footy themed 1st Tuesday in the month...and of course it rains! So no green shots but surface played well in the damp conditions. Who puts togther Pies V Saints team...you are only going to get a draw!! Fun night had by all and thank you to Diane Cameron for organising.
