Australian Yau Kung Mun is on the way to Malaysia to represent Australia at the Historic City International Lion Dance Championship in Malacca.
This journey is more than a competition. It is about culture, discipline, brotherhood, and carrying forward the lion dance spirit from Sydney onto the international stage.

Today, Lion Dance Kids and Australian Yau Kung Mun are proud to be at the 2026 CLTANSW Annual Conference.

It is a great opportunity to connect with Chinese language teachers, educators and community leaders who are helping to keep Chinese language and culture alive for the next generation in NSW.

For us, lion dance is more than a performance. It is a powerful way for children to experience culture through movement, rhythm, teamwork, discipline and storytelling.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share what we do and to meet so many passionate teachers who care deeply about cultural education.

Thank you to the Chinese Language Teachers Association of New South Wales for hosting this important conference and for welcoming us as part of the day.
