Tuesday 5th December 2023-Special Day

FMS were invited to contest a game against BOTAFOGO DE FUTEBOL E REGATAS a Brazilian Serie A team.

Our Australian players played a combined U17-U18 youth team from Botafogo Futebol Club. one of the leading football clubs in Brazil. This was an unprecedented special occasion as the game was played in the first teams main stadiums Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos. This 50,0000 seat venue played host to the 2021 Copa America and the 2016 Olympic Games. Many of the world’s best footballers have played on this surface.

Our Australian boys played a highly contested game and were praised and given great feedback by the opposition players, coaching staff as well as visiting agents. The hosts looked after our players medically and offered tremendous support.

We thank Botafogo Futebol club and appreciate the generosity shown. We look forward to more opportunities in 2024 for FMS.

4th December 2023

FMS played a friendly game against SC Internacional (youth) from the Brazilian series A.

In 2006 SC Internacional won the Copa liberatores and the FIFA club World Cup defeating Barcelona in the final

On 30th November 2023.
FMS embarked on a journey from Australia to the dream land of world football- Brazil

11 players from Australia will be joined by 4 Brazilian players (squad of 15)

These players will play and trial in front of many different coaches, managers, players and agents.

The players will have opportunities to meet football directors and gain valuable knowledge and contacts.

The games include teams: Internacional, Botafogo, Santos, Aster Brasil.

The journey begins now.
