Not much to see here…4am beach runs back in full swing, now that all the debris has been cleaned up following recent storms. Lost toe nails and injured feet from kicking tree branches in the dark are hopefully over. Keep training!

Fellow Budoka, former popular student Ryan has been severely impacted by Huntington’s disease. He is still a warrior and fighting fiercely in the face of overwhelming odds. There is great hope with groundbreaking treatment, the cost of which is beyond normal means. Ryan and his family are in need of funds to continue this treatment. Covid restrictions continue. Until our dojos open again, keep your personal training going!

Due to the Greater Sydney lockdown commencing midnight tonight, training will not take place in our dojo’s for the next two weeks.
Please follow the guidelines and keep safe.

Following recent Covid restrictions announced by the NSW Premier, we will be required to wear masks in the dojo for the next week.

Those who have returned to the dojo since reopening of our hall, are enjoying it immensely.
Just a reminder we are obliged to comply with our required COVID safety plan. If you have any flu like symptoms .... DO NOT enter the dojo.

Training will be resuming next week (2 March) at Kincumber High School. We have been training here for 30 years until COVID-19 restrictions and keen to resume. We may have an opportunity to change to Wednesday nights, but I’ll advise over the next couple of days if we are in for Tuesday or Wednesday. Brooke Avenue School is still closed for our usual Monday night classes, but we are looking at an alternative venue at the moment.

EDIT: Tuesday night is confirmed.
