Have you noticed how much easier lateral raises are when youโ€™re leaning away from something?

This is because there is less resistance at the bottom of the movement meaning less shoulder activation

Instead - try leaning the opposite way such as on an upright bench to maximise the movement and get more time under tension for more muscle growth

An insightful reminder from Melinda for anyone in a deficit - are you only relying on scale weight as a form of measuring progress?

Itโ€™s important to look at multiple objective progress forms such as measurements and the fit of your clothes to see if you are on track even if the scale weight isnโ€™t changing!
