Wow, where did 2025 go. Apologies to you all, it's been such a very long time since we have been in touch. We do hope that you have all been well and have kept active. Having dealt with various health issues, personal losses and a serious bout of missing sewjo, we are hoping that 2026 will bring some of the creative juices back.

In2quilting is still very much open for retail. Fay has been sorting through her storage and is discovering plenty of interesting fabrics, books and patterns. Visits are by appointment only.

Fay is also happy to do consultations one on one to help you through fabric choices, tricky sewing situations, learning new techniques or whatever you require. Ring for appointments.

In the new year Fay will be resuming small group sewing sessions and classes in her studio. Fay is also exploring retreat options - if you know of any please let her know. The retreat will be limited numbers.

Hello to all. Can anyone help me out with these 2 fabrics please? They are Kansas Troubles.
Desperate to come across some as I have decided to enlarge a project and I do not even have any scraps. Let me know if you can help me.
Thank you. 🤞🤞🤞

We had a wonderful theme night - "It's a Small World". We only had 5 entries but they were all very different. Rhonda who spoke about foods from around the world, Shirley S - our little milk maid from Holland, Analiese our Gypsy lady, Annika - Svea from Svealand (Sweden) and Jess - Punjabi Muttiyaar. Jess is our chef this year. Jess had us up and dancing bringing a lot of joy to us all.
Every presentation was very different. The winner with a rousing applause was Jess, with Annika an equal winner with her big reveal at the end as a pregnant Agnetha from ABBA (lol). Please feel free to upload any photos or videos you may have. As a participant I didn't take any photos.

Day 4 at Harrietville and yes just to rub it in for those who didn't come we had yet another gloriously sunny day. This morning we had a visit from Wandilagong Primary School. They are currently studying recycling and yes we do recycle here at in2quilting. They were split into two groups and came in to visit us at the conference centre and learnt a little about what we are doing and that sometime we recycle by using old ties, laces and even t-shirts in our quilts. Fay then gave them a lesson on Maths using her hexagon quilt. Then they went across to our breakfast room and had a session with Rhonda on recycling things you find around the home and on the beach to make mosaics and pictures. They each received a pouch made from jeans and other goodies - thanks Lyn and Rhonda. We then asked the kids to vote on our Challenge quilts which were Kids Novelty quilts - there's serendipity for you. Speaking of which Annika won with her Star Wars Quilt. We had more show and tell, in which we all got to see how much the ladies had achieved over the week so far.

Just because I like to torture you all with photos of our glorious weather and surroundings. We are still able to admire the autumn colours and the beautiful bird life here in Harrietville. We even get to admire the local handiwork in the form of a log couch complete with cup holders.

Day 2 was a whirl of sewing and Show and Tell. We woke to a foggy start, followed by a gorgeous sunny blue skyed day. Some of us ventured into Bright for some retail therapy while others stayed and sewed. In the afternoon we took in the the gorgeous weather with a walk along the river - see next post for photos. Before dinner we had a Show and Tell during which we got to admire the wonderful work our ladies have been doing between retreats and one or two done by others.

Day 1 at Harrietville was the usual whirlwind of unpacking getting set up and catching up with old friends. However, this time we had the added twist of doing our Covid tests before settling in. Many of the ladies were straight into sewing as soon as they good. Many of the items being UFOs. We had the added joy of having plenty of space this year. It will be hard loosing that again as we manage to fill up our spaces very quickly.

in2quilting are currently in Harrietville with 26 lovely ladies enjoying the glorious weather and fabulous company. We are two days in and some industrious ladies have already finished some of their UFO's. Fay has brought along plenty of fabrics and sewing notions which offer a creative distraction for us all. Once again the shops in Bright have already been a temptation and a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. Today we enjoyed the sunshine, the local wildlife and autumn colours, as we took walks along the river. We finished today off with some wonderful show and tell. Keep following us, we'll be posting photos of our work over the rest of the work.
