Warriappendi School students were back for their third session with the Bikes Active Program, and this time, they took on City Dirt in Adelaide!

It was their first time tackling this terrain so far this term, and while some were a bit nervous at first, they gave it a go—and their confidence grew with every ride.

We’re so proud of their progress and can’t wait to see their skills and confidence keep growing! 🚴‍♂️💪

After weeks of building their core skills, they’re now putting everything they’ve learned into practice in the real world. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of mastering a new obstacle and seeing your hard work pay off!

Taking on new challenges not only boosts their confidence and self-esteem but also encourages them to tackle new challenges in the school environment. These experiences help them grow stronger, both on the bike and in the classroom. 💪

Week 5 is All About Road Safety! 🚴‍♀️

Meet Marissa, one of our students a part of the program this term!

From the very beginning, Marissa has been dedicated to building her cycling skills, especially when it comes to turning and signalling. Last week, while the others were enjoying a drinks break, she was hard at work perfecting her hand signals, determined to get it just right.

This week, Marissa proudly showcased her progress, confidently signalling with the group and mastering new road safety skills. While our program focuses on mountain biking, we believe that road safety is an essential skill for every rider.

Great job, Marissa! Keep up the amazing work! 💪👏
