From a teenager in Reserve Grade teenager to quickly cementing his position in A Grade (Prem), Kieran Ivers’ journey with BVC Bears has been nothing short of exceptional. Over 18 years, he’s represented this club with passion, relentless determination and leadership, contributing to premierships, countless award titles, and memorable moments that have shaped our club's identity both on and off court.

Kieran’s impact has extended beyond the game through his involvement in coaching, social league, the committee, and the wider club community.

It is with great appreciation that we officially announce Kieran’s retirement. In recognition of his outstanding contribution and as our first Gold Legacy member, the Bears jersey #2 will be retired.

Thank you, Kieran — your legacy at Bears is forever.

BVC Bears invites all new players wanting to join our club in the 2026 season to come along to our “Get your BEARings” session! 💙

Held annually, “Get your BEARings” is designed for new Senior and Junior players to come and experience the club, meet coaches, and ask any questions before trials. All FREE of charge, no sign up required! 🤩

We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible! 🐻
