Congratulations to Laurel Cunico on being named a Distinguished Long Service Award recipient!

Sport NSW announces 26 Distinguished Long Service Honour recipients.

Twenty-six community sport volunteers will be presented with the prestigious Distinguished Long Service Award, following their decades of unflagging and exceptional contribution to sport at a grassroots level, at the 2026 NSW Community Sports Awards presented by Bankstown Sports Club.

The Distinguished Long Service Award recognises individual officials, coaches, administrators, and event organisers who have demonstrated extraordinary unwavering dedication to fostering and advancing sport in their communities for over 25 years.

The Distinguished Long Service Award recipients will be celebrated at the Awards evening held at Bankstown Sports Club on Monday June 29.

Congratulations to Laurel Cunico from Baulkham Hills Netball on being named a Distinguished Long Service Award recipient, a fitting recognition of her exceptional contribution to our sport.

🏐 Senior State Titles – Day 2 🏐

The sun was shining and it was another great day of Senior State Titles.

Our Baulkham Hills umpires were officiating across both Penrith and Baulkham Hills today and did an fantastic job representing our association. From experienced State Titles umpires to those attending for the first time, it has been great to see everyone making the most of the opportunity.

Well done to all of our umpires on a successful Day 2. Looking forward to the final day tomorrow!

🏐 Senior State Titles – Day 1 Wrap Up 🏐

Day 1 of Senior State Titles is done and dusted!

It was fantastic to see our Baulkham Hills umpires representing the association on court today, including the first State Titles appearance of our new representative umpiring uniform.

Well done to everyone on a big day of officiating. We look forward to seeing what Day 2 brings.

We are looking for Gold Badge and National Badge umpires to assist with our Junior Representative Program round robin on Tuesday 16 June.

📍 Games commence at 6:40pm – please arrive by 6:15pm to warm up.
⏰ Three rounds of games:
• 6:40pm
• 7:15pm
• 7:50pm

The format will be 3 x 24-minute games.
