We’re excited to invite you to something a little different from us!

Alongside Hills Latin Dancing, Lauren and her mum Debbie have opened Hills Wellness Centre, upstairs from our studio. A space dedicated to bringing a range of holistic health and wellness services together under one roof.

And on Saturday 19th September, we’re hosting a Half Day Immersive Wellness Taster Day. 🌿

✨ Get to Know Our Instructor: Cynthia! ✨

Cynthia brings so much care and dedication to her teaching at Hills Latin Dancing. She loves helping students feel comfortable, have fun and build their confidence.

We asked her a few extra questions so you can get to know her a little better…

💃 What’s one thing your students might be surprised to learn about you?

“I’m an introvert. I’m naturally very shy, especially at socials. So I know what it feels like to stand there hoping someone will dance with you. But when I teach, I turn up for my students to make it as fun and comfortable as possible, and I push outside my comfort zone to go to socials, often on my own. That’s the way you grow, shine and find joy.”

❤️ What do you love most about teaching at Hills Latin Dancing?

“The community family feel, seeing students having fun and improving as it all clicks into place.”

✨ One piece of dance advice you’d give Beginners?

“Stick with it and find the joy. You need to be comfortable with being a little uncomfortable, feeling a little awkward, and making mistakes. That’s how it becomes natural and then you learn more to stretch yourself. So embrace and enjoy the learning journey.”

We love having Cynthia as part of the Hills Latin Dancing team, and her own experience is such a great reminder that confidence doesn’t always come before you step onto the dance floor. Sometimes it’s something you build by continuing to show up, challenge yourself and find the joy along the way.

We’re so excited to announce the 2nd Annual Hills Latin Dancing Christmas Showcase!💃🕺🎅

📅 Saturday 12th December 2026
📍 Hills Latin Dancing - Unit 2/322 Annangrove Rd, Rouse Hill

After such a special first showcase last year, we’re doing it all again. Giving our students the chance to take to the floor and show their family and friends what they’ve learnt throughout the year! ❤️

And now...expressions of interest are OPEN for our 2026 Showcase Performance Training! 🎉

Training starts in just 3–4 weeks, with TWO performance opportunities:

💃🕺 PARTNER SALSA & BACHATA
📅 Mondays from 28th September at 7pm
Learn a choreographed Salsa & Bachata routine while developing your technique, memory, confidence and social dancing skills.

🔥 LATIN FUSION
📅 Thursdays from 1st October at 8:15pm
Our solo Fusion performance combines Salsa & Bachata with Hip Hop, and this year we’ll be bringing together a mix of some of the BEST songs and choreographies we’ve danced throughout 2026! 🔥
Haven’t done Fusion before? That’s okay! Newbies are welcome to jump in, learn the routines and have some fun giving it a go.

⭐ No previous performance experience required
⭐ 10 weeks of training + dress rehearsal week
