Week 7 of cricket blast report. I have to apologise for being a little late to start the session. But in saying that we had another great turnout with our group being as enthusiastic as ever. To see the progress all the kids are making is great. A lot of practice in feilding throwing and bowling this week. With a quick PROPER game at the end of the session.

Again our SportsPower Katanning blaster of the week was Riley Parminter. Riley has shown great improvement in his feilding and catching.

Next week is our last week of cricket blast for the year. I would like to personally thank all the players for coming the parents that have helped out over the year as well. We hope to have a small windup after the session next week.

Week 4 of cricket blast report.

On a beautiful morning for sport we had a slow start with a few kids having a bit of a sleep in. But with the under 13s game going on against Nyabing, we had Charlie from Nyabing join us for the session, we hope you enjoyed joining us for it.

By the end of the session we had 15 enthusiastic kids throwing bowling and catching, with a quick game at the end. The improvement in all the kids is noticeable from the early weeks and the future for cricket is looking good if they all stick with it.

Today we also had another SportsPower Katanning cricket blaster of the week and this weeks winner was Tommy Dark. His energy is infectious amongst all the kids he encourages all his teammates and his skills are coming along great as well. Well done Tommy

A couple of days late but another great week at Katanning cricket blast. Week 4 we worked on our bowling throwing catching and started some practice on our calling when running between the wickets. Week finished off with a small game at the end where everyone had a bat and a bowl.

This weeks SportsPower Katanning blaster of the week is a new recruit Johaan , who started this week. This was a vote for blaster of the week by all the blasters. Well done Johaan.

A week off this weekend, so everyone can have a chance to go to the test match in Perth.

But we will be back at Quatermaine oval @ 830am the 29th of November for week 5.
