JUNIOR CRICKET LAUNCH
September 9th 5pm - BBQ & Games + Registration Help.

We welcome all past and new families to join our Burra's cricket family this season.

We will be fielding U11, U13 & U15 teams this year as well as the Junior Blasters program.

A big congratulations to Lockie Platt on his selection in the 25/26 VCCL Barwon Zone Team of the Year. Lockie was also named Vice Captain.

Another well deserved accolade for last season’s Alan Peel Medalist.

The Victorian Country Cricket League announced its "Team of the Year" last week, along with a "Team of the Year" from each affiliated Region.

Without further ado, the Barwon Zone "Team of the Year" as selected by the VCCL (Captain, Vice-Captain and then alphabetical order) is :

We are still on the hunt for a suitable candidate to take on a part time role as our Junior Development Coach for the upcoming season.

We are seeking expression of interests for a Junior Development Coach.

The successful applicant would work alongside our junior coaches and coordinators to support the development of batting and bowling skills of our junior cricketers, particularly our under 15 boys side.

The time commitments of the role are negotiable as is remuneration for the right applicant.

Our first three trainings are all on Sunday’s at Barwon Regional Cricket Centre at Kardinia Park. We understand that the second session is on Father’s Day so this one is optional.

🟡🟢NEW RECRUIT🟢🟡

We are super excited to announce that Jordan Tegelhuter has decided to join the burras for the 26/27 season.

Jordan comes to us after recently moving to town and has played the bulk of his cricket in the last few seasons at Newtown, as well as a stint at Geelong West.

A hard hitting batsmen with a top score of 198 he will add some fire power to our batting line up.

Please give Jordan, his wife Maisie and daughter Ivy a massive welcome to the burras!
