So after 6,244 nm or 11,239 km, 26 days and 74.3 flying hours our race has come to an end. Only one tailwind going from Townsville to Ingham on the last leg of our trip. Only once did weather stop us and that was at Townsville trying to get to Ingham on the last leg. Very frustrating. Over $1m raised for the RFDS. Met some great people and had the experience of a lifetime. Can't wait for 2028 to roll around for the next air race which coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Doctor. Thanks to all of our supporters and those that donated. Without you the event wouldn't have been the success it was. Until 2028... New team name will have to be Rookies Rewind😂

Congratulations team ZIC 👏
This air race has been a highlight of my life.
Made some great new friends, flew over magnificent country and added a few new (and hopefully unique) experiences to our pallette of wisdom 😎😎😎
