The HRASC recently celebrated the conclusion of the 25/26 swim season with our annual awards night. Congratulations to all our members on their achievements throughout the year - you should all be incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished. 📣 An incredible achievement by Lucas at the 2026 National Age Championships on the Gold Coast!

Competing in the 16 years 50m Freestyle, Lucas placed an impressive 36th with a brilliant time of 24.39 seconds. To top it off, he achieved a 0.55 second personal best - an outstanding result at this level of competition! 💪👏👏

This performance is a true reflection of Lucas’ hard work, dedication, and commitment to his sport. His determination continues to inspire those around him, and he is a wonderful role model for the younger generation of Herbert River swimmers.

🌟 A huge congratulations to Lacey on her selection in the 2026 12 years Northern Swimming Team! We wish Lacey all the very best as she travels to Brisbane next week to compete at the State Championships.

We would also like to congratulate Lucas (17 years) on his 8th consecutive selection in the Northern Swimming Team. Unfortunately, extenuating circumstances have meant that Lucas is unable to attend this year’s competition.

The HR Swimming Club is incredibly proud of both swimmers and their achievements. Well done, Lacey and Lucas! 👏👏
