🤔Have you ever thought about starting your own business but just don’t know where to start?

Maybe you’ve got an idea floating around in your head, or you know you want to do something for yourself, but you’re not really quite sure yet.

Well That was me……

When I left the corporate world, I knew I wanted something different, but I had to work out what that “different” actually was.

So I went through a structured business program with Fempire called Frempeneur, and that’s what helped me work through my ideas, get clear on what I wanted to do and actually start building my coaching business.

Now I help other women do the same. 💜

It’s a 6-week structured program, but you’re not just buying a course and being left to work it all out on your own.

You’ve got me there with you every step of the way.

We talk through your ideas, work through the program together, figure out what makes sense for YOU and your life, and I’m there for all those questions and “what the hell am I supposed to do here?” moments. 😂

You don’t need a perfect business idea or a big fancy plan before you start.

Sometimes it really does start with, “I’ve really been thinking about doing this for a while now …”

🎂 Another trip around the sun… and I’m feeling pretty grateful. 💜

The older I get, the more I realise life isn’t about having everything figured out.

It’s about knowing who you are, backing yourself, spending time with the people you love, doing work that makes you happy, having a laugh, enjoying the adventures and of course saying yes to that glass of wine. 🍷😂

This past year has brought plenty of changes. I’ve stepped further away from the life I thought I was supposed to have and closer to the one I actually want.

I’m building my businesses, enjoying our little piece of country life, making more time for family, travelling when we can and learning that I don’t need anyone else’s permission to create a life on my terms.

I’m not interested in becoming a completely different person.
I actually quite like who I’ve become.

Stronger. More confident. A little louder when I need to be. Still kind, still learning and definitely still capable of surprising myself by stepping out of my comfort zone.

So today I’m celebrating me, where I’ve been, how far I’ve come and everything that’s still ahead.

Here’s to more family, more adventures, more laughter, more backing myself and more doing what makes me happy.
And yes absolutely more wine. 😉

I quite often get asked ….
“Why do I need a coach to help me build my business?”

So I tell them;

Well You don’t!
You can absolutely figure it out yourself.

However, if you’re spending months second-guessing your ideas, changing direction, wondering what to charge and posting on social media hoping something eventually works, doing it alone may already be costing you more than coaching would.

A good coach doesn’t build your business for you.

They help you stop wasting time and start making clearer, more strategic decisions. They keep you grounded and on track.

💜 I’ve been thinking a lot about how important local connections really are.
Especially when you live and work in a rural or regional community.

It’s been on my mind quite a bit lately, and I’ve actually taken the first steps towards creating something locally that I’d really love to see grow.

Running a business can be lonely sometimes. You can have all the motivation in the world, but there’s something different about sitting down with other women who understand what it’s like to run a business, juggle everything else in life, or even have that little idea in the back of their mind that they’d love to turn into something more.

For me, networking doesn’t need to be formal. I don’t want to walk into a room and feel like I have to sell myself to everyone there as that is fu***ng uncomfortable 😂

I’d much rather sit around a table with a cuppa (or maybe a wine 🍷), have a good chat, get to know each other and hear about what everyone is doing.

Because once we actually know each other, we can support each other. We can recommend a local business, share someone’s post, introduce two people who could help each other, offer some encouragement or simply be there to bounce an idea around.

I’d love to see more of that in our local community. Women helping women grow, not competing with each other.

Calling Local Women in Business & Budding Entrepreneurs!!

I’d love to bring some local women around the Horse Camp & Gin Gin community together for a casual catch-up, a chat and just a chance to get to know each other.

I’m Lisa, I live locally and run two small businesses, Lisa Macey – Business Coach and Moonstone Massage.

Working for yourself can sometimes be a little daunting and comes with plenty of challenges. There are so many amazing women in our local community doing their own thing, and I thought it would be great to actually get to know each other, share ideas, support and lift each other up, celebrate the wins and have a few laughs along the way. 💜

Nothing formal and definitely no awkward networking! 😂
No selling, no pitching and no pressure.

Just a relaxed catch-up over a coffee, tea, hot chocolate, wine, beer… whatever your drink of choice happens to be! 😂🍷☕

A chance to share ideas and experiences, support and inspire each other, and hopefully make some new friendships and connections along the way.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve been in business for years, have just started, work from home, have a little side hustle or you’re simply thinking about starting something of your own one day.

That Business Idea Sitting in Your Head!

How long have you been saying:
"I'd love to start my own business one day."

Six months?
Two years?
Ten years?

Most women don't fail because they lack ability, they fail because they never start. They spend years researching, overthinking, doubting themselves, and waiting for the perfect time but the perfect time doesn't exist.

Confidence doesn't magically arrive before you begin, Confidence comes from taking action.

The women I work with are not looking to build million-dollar empires overnight, they want:

More freedom.
More flexibility.
More control over their future.
More time for the people who matter most.

How To Know If It's Time To Leave A Toxic Workplace!

Ask yourself these five questions:
✔️ Do you dread Monday mornings?
✔️ Have you stopped speaking up in meetings?
✔️ Do you constantly second-guess yourself?
✔️ Are you taking work stress home every day?
