Ballet exams give dancers a clear goal to work towards while developing strong technique, discipline, confidence and performance skills.

The process teaches students the value of consistent training, attention to detail and perseverance. It also provides valuable feedback and allows each dancer to see how far they have progressed.

Every exam is an important milestone in a dancer’s journey, and we are incredibly proud of every student who takes that step.

A Day in the Life of Our Dance Teachers 🧡

Let’s meet our wonderful Gypsy!

Gypsy has been part of the HOD family for more than 13 years. She has trained across all genres and completed her Advanced 2 ballet examinations with Distinction. She is now one of our much-loved ballet and RAD teachers. 🩰

By day, Gypsy is in the final stages of completing her PhD in Microbiology, researching the microbial breakdown of plastic. 🧫🔬😮

From the ballet barre to groundbreaking research....what an incredible achievement!
