Delight is home from her very short stay this time at Riverside Spelling & Agistment. She was over the moon to be home, until she realised that the yearlings still lived here and haven’t been sold while she was on her weekend away. 😂

🌸 Our 2026 AI process is underway!🌸

Yesterday morning, our first two mares Dinki Di Justgenes (Genie) & Oh Dozen She Jet (Delight) headed off to Mareeba to kick start this year’s Artificial Insemination (AI) journey with Sundance Veterinary Services.

By the afternoon they were already scanned, and Delight was wasting no time getting herself organised for a Saturday AI! Now let’s hope that the plane is on time with the semen and Delight follows the rules and in a couple of weeks we get some good news🤞🏼

Stay tuned… we’ll be keeping everything crossed!

Our girls will also be sure to loose those woolly winter coats quickly down in the much warmer part of the Tablelands. Let’s bring home some shiny summer coats and some pregnancies ladies! 🤞🏼🐴✨

Well it didn’t take long to come up with a name for this filly! She’s blingy, she’s full of sass and she is cool as a cucumber! And with the sad passing of a country music legend, we think it’s only fitting that we named her DOLLY ! I think our Dolly will have a rhinestone filled life too!

The filly fairy sure has been kind to us, having still not produced a c**t since we started breeding under the Charlynn name.

4 seasons, 7 fillies, as much as we are grateful, we just want healthy, stress free mares and foals from woah to go, which in a couple of cases have not been so easy .

Let’s take a little step back in time and have a look at each of our Charlynn fillies all within their first 2 hours of life. The joys and the super hard (Callie- born 70 days overdue and dismature) first moments . What an adventure it’s been thus far. We sure have been tested but we really have learnt a lot and bred some beautiful horses.

At 11am today we welcomed this beautiful filly into the world. Heza Rare Man (imp) X Shot of Fury.

Fury needed a tiny assist at the end, as she got a very tired, but all went perfectly. And we feel blessed! She’s a strong one again, with all milestones hit in her first hour.

Thanks Justin at Elite Quarter Horses and Mathea Usher for another opportunity to breed to Heza Rare Man (imp) last season. As with our last Deppy filly, we are absolutely thrilled with what was delivered by this pairing!

Sundance Veterinary Services, this crazy dream wouldn’t be possible without you guys helping us creating these beauties. Fury kept us waiting for a pregnancy a few seasons, but she definitely did it again, and produced the goods!

And of course CEN Horse Nutrition thank you for keeping our broodmares healthy and happy the whole way through!
