Yesterday we headed to Alexandra Speedway for the 3-Hour Tag Team Enduro, and what a cool event it was! 🙌

Bry was out first in the support class. After all the work we’d done to the car, he absolutely loved it and felt really comfortable in the first heat! Unfortunately, in heat two the oil-pressure line snapped, dumped the oil and it looks like the motor is done 😭🔧

Then it was time for the 3-hour! Choc and Bisho had a hot-laps session each before the kids in the crowd pulled names from a hat to decide the starting grid—such a cool idea! We drew 22nd 🎩

Bisho started and ran for around 30 minutes before a steering issue brought him in and sent Choc out for his first stint. At the next change, Bisho went back out, but just two laps later bent a steering arm 🤦‍♂️ Straight back in, jump into Choc’s car and keep going while the boys worked on the other one! 🔧💪

We changed drivers another two or three times and ran Choc’s car for the rest of the race. The old workhorse copped an absolute hiding all night—a bent rim, bent steering arm and then a frantic refuel with only 10 minutes remaining! 😂⛽

But we got it done and completed our very first 3-Hour Tag Team Enduro! 🏁💪🔥

A massive thank you to the Alexandra Speedway committee for putting on another great event! The 3-hour format was unreal, and having the kids pull the starting grid from a hat was such a cool touch 🙌🏁

A pretty successful night at the Speedway Sedans Victoria presentation!

🏁 5th in the Coastal Series
🏁 5th in the Northern Series
🏁 4th overall in the Drivers’ Points

A massive improvement on last season and something we’re extremely proud of.

But the biggest surprise came at the end of the night when I was named the 2026 Street Stock Ambassador of the Year.

Honestly, I was completely speechless. It’s a huge honour to receive an award like this and something I’ll be proud of for a very long time.

A massive thank you to Tash for all the dinners in the shed, always being there on race day and supporting everything we do.

To Neil Bishopand Damon Jamesthank you for the countless hours working on the cars, helping in the pits and doing whatever it takes to keep us racing.

And to Aunty Julie Kerr, thank you for answering all my questions and helping with absolutely everything throughout the season.

🏁 FS MOTORSPORTS | 2025–26 SEASON WRAP-UP 🏁

What a season! Friday night we headed down to Alexandra SpeedwayPresentation Night, we celebrated an unforgettable year for FS MOTORSPORTS.

🌟 The biggest highlight was Hunter and Bryden. At the start of the season, neither had ever driven a car, let alone used a clutch. Fast forward one season and they’d both stood on the podium multiple times and collected several awards. We couldn’t be prouder.

🚗 Across our five cars, we attended around 50 race meetings throughout the season. Mat was honoured to receive the Most Travelled Competitor award—a reflection of the commitment our whole team puts into this sport.

A night of highs and lows to close out the season for FS MOTORSPORTS.

DQs in the heats, a crash, a spin, an engine that’s still breaking down at the end of races, and a flat tyre… just some of the challenges our four cars faced tonight.

There were positives too. After chasing it for what feels like forever, it looks like we’ve finally sorted the overheating issues on the AX93. Damon also put together a smart, consistent drive to bring the AX35 home in 9th place.

That wraps up our first season running five cars, and the first full season in speedway for three of our drivers. The boys have come so far already, and we’re incredibly excited about what the future holds. Mat and Damon also seem to be finding their feet in the Sports Sedans, with the speed and consistency starting to come together.

Now it’s time to strip every car down, give them the refresh they deserve, sort out the remaining gremlins, and come back bigger, faster, and stronger next season.

P9 in the 50 Lapper! 💪🏁

What a result for Damon James, bringing the AX35 home in 9th place against a quality field in one of the biggest races on the calendar.

To come away with a top 10 in a 50-lap feature is a massive achievement and a real reward for all the hard work that’s gone into the car.

Night 2 of the Alexandra Speedway 100 Lapper brought plenty of excitement, heartbreak and determination.

🔥 AX93 WAS ON A MISSION! 🔥

After finishing Night 1 just outside the qualifying positions, Mat Bishop AX93 knew exactly what needed to be done. Starting from position 2 in his qualifying heat, Mat quickly took the lead and drove away from the field. He looked set to take the win before contact in the second-last corner saw him shuffled back to 2nd.

Despite missing the win, the result was enough to lock AX93 straight into the Alexandra 100 Lapper field. After starting the day outside the qualifiers, Mat drove his way into one of Australia’s most iconic speedway events and secured his place amongst a stacked 40-car field. 👏🏁🔥

🔩 Damon James AX35 faced a stacked heat race from the rear of the field and kept the car clean while moving forward to secure a spot in the B Main.

Starting from the back once again, Damon drove a smart race and was picking off positions when another driver pulled across the track while exiting, leaving him nowhere to go. The contact ended his night early, which was disappointing after showing strong speed throughout the day.

🏁 Then came the big one — the Alexandra 100.

With a stacked 40-car field lining up for the Alexandra 100, Mat rolled onto the track for one of Australia’s most iconic speedway events. Truth be told, the nerves were kicking in. After a weekend of battling issues and lining up alongside some of the best drivers in the country, there were moments where Mat almost didn’t want to roll out for the race.

But once the green flag dropped, AX93 came alive.

Mat charged through the field and climbed as high as 19th place in the opening stages before rising temperatures forced him to pull to the infield. By the time the car reached the pits it had cooled down, so the team sent him back out to continue the fight.

Unfortunately, after another stint on track the steering became increasingly difficult. With the heat taking its toll and the steering becoming harder every lap, Mat kept pushing until he simply had nothing left to give. Sometimes the driver gives out before the race car, and that was the case on this occasion.

Despite the challenges, AX93 was still credited with 27th place in the Alexandra 100 after charging forward through the field and battling through one of the toughest races of the season.

While the final result wasn’t what we came for, there were plenty of positives to take away from the weekend. From sitting outside the qualifiers on Night 1 to racing in one of Australia’s most iconic speedway events and charging through the field, the team showed plenty of fight and never gave up.
