CueSports Society

CueSports Society CueSoc the inter-uni society for pool enthusiasts across Sydney. CueSoc was founded in 2010 by university students that played pool and snooker.

The initial member base was small and comprised mostly of competitive players. This was changed by the debut of Social Pool in 2012. For the first time, CueSoc took on an identity as a social society, not just a competitive one. Beginners, intermediates and experts alike were able to socialise and play together, resulting in a much more diverse member base. From here the society grew rapidly in popularity and saw increased participation from non-UNSW students. Today, CueSoc maintains the identity that it developed during its early years; a recreational society that caters for beginners and experts alike as well as students from any university. It remains a strong social hub that allows students to connect and socialise with each other over their passion for cue sports. Over 5000 members and alumni have been a part of CueSoc since its founding and that number continues to grow.

Now that our Minors matches are over, we have our Finals Day this Saturday, where all our Monday league players will compete for a chance to win this season's League finals!

For Inter-Uni Finals!

What we have this week is our continuation of our Inter Uni Competition. A week ago, we had our qualifiers round where each player plays in their Uni brackets to determine the top 4 players from each Uni that will represent their Uni. This event we have our Finals where we will see our best players from each Uni play against each other to determine which Uni is the overall winner.
