Ballet is about so much more than getting the exercise right. It's about the process of learning, moving with the music, and finding joy in the journey. Class is an opportunity to be present, to challenge yourself, and to experience the satisfaction that comes from gradual progress.

There is something deeply mindful about ballet. The focus required, the intentional movements, and the connection between music and movement encourage us to slow down and be fully present in the moment.

This video is a little longer than our usual posts, but we hope you enjoy seeing more of the exercise and getting a feel for what it's like to dance alongside our adult students in class.

Learning something new can be very daunting, that's why we take the time to break movements down, explore technique and build foundations that help you to be a more confident dancer.

Our back-to-basics and Level 1 classes for adults are designed for that. We also encourage experienced dancers who are warming back up, or wanting to learn about the foundations of ballet.

Congratulations to all of our students who completed their ballet assessments. We're incredibly proud of the focus, dedication, and hard work our dancers have shown throughout their preparation. Assessments are an opportunity to celebrate progress, build confidence, and recognise the growth that comes from consistent effort.

Thank you to our teachers and families for their support, and congratulations once again to every student on this wonderful achievement.

Congratulations to all of our students who completed their assessments. We are so proud of the focus, dedication, and hard work that has gone into preparing for this moment.

Thank you to our teachers and families for their support along the way. And with Father's Day today, we'd like to extend a special thank you to all the dads and father figures who spend countless hours cheering from the sidelines, driving to classes, and encouraging our dancers every step of the way.

Assessments start tomorrow. There are always a few nerves before stepping into something important, but we've watched our students work hard all term and know just how much effort has gone into preparing.

Chookas, dancers. We know you'll do us proud and hope you enjoy yourselves!

It's less than one week before our children's 2026 assessments. Please send them a big chookas as they get ready to showcase the great work they have been learning this term. We are very proud and excited to see you perform in front of our wonderful adjudicators; Teagan Lowe, Joanne Michelle, and Jessica Thompson. 👏👏👏

In a ballet class, we always start at the barre. Each exercise builds up, allowing us to stretch further and leap higher once we reach the centre.

Follow along in Natalie's ronde jambe from home to get a little feel of what a level 1.5 class may look like. We can't wait to see you in the studio!

Scream out! We are here to help you 🥰

The moments before the music starts. Questions are answered, details are explained, and everyone prepares for the exercise ahead. Our adult classes are designed to help dancers understand the why behind the movement, creating a positive and supportive environment where it's always okay to ask for help.

Assessments are about more than the result. They encourage students to set goals, strengthen their understanding of ballet, and take pride in their progress. Our students are working hard to learn their syllabus, refine their technique, and develop greater confidence in their dancing.

Help us cheer our dancers on as they prepare for their assessments and showcase the results of all their hard work!

Yesterday, Kalman took our adult dancers through the technical foundations of this exercise, exploring not just the steps themselves, but the details that help dancers move with confidence, control, and safety.
Today, you can see the results in the studio!

If you haven't already, head back and watch Part 1 to learn the exercise.
