Congratulations to Tom Bowers on winning the Athletics Victoria half marathon championship for the second year in a row.
Ben Beischer finished 4th and Rory Vial finished 16th in his debut half marathon.
Our Div 2 team, which also included Lachie Stewart and Ant Rickards, finished 3rd, our best result for the season.

If you're thinking of trying something new or doubling up, this is a great week to do it.
But whatever your event, it all adds to a big day of competition.

The countdown is on to one of the biggest days on the Scotch calendar — and with it, the race that gets the whole community talking. The 𝗘𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝟴𝟬𝟬𝗺 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗽 is set to hit the Main Oval once again on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟯 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 | 𝟭:𝟯𝟱 𝗽𝗺 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This is no ordinary race, rather a fun handicap, and it’s open to men and women of all ages. If you can shuffle, jog, or sprint 800m, you belong on the start line.
