Our Teal Blu no BEEF PATTY `n ' STU

is the post pandemic incarnation of OUR TEAL BLU. During the lock down, Patty and Stuart swung the hammer as hard as we could.

OUR TEAL BLU
Who are they ? ; well,,,
Patty : vocals, n, bass, whilst a top a unicycle (occasionally)
Stu : Lead git, n, songster
Pete: Double bass, n, Vox
Steve: Makin’ banging noises (drumbo)
Simon: B3 and Rhodes sounds (keys) & Terry: Sax M@ our drummer, and one of the original three who broke the orbit of Dimension 9, has decided to live the rest of his life in the ocean with his surfboard.

Patty and I , whilst Standing to attention on an American flag vowed not to gig under that name again and never play our novelty song and gig closer, `whippin post' again , unless under the banner of `OUR TEAL BLU', which can only be If the drummer is Matt Laganza. I got tennis elbow , she got a little indentation on her forehead. Not to worry , it paid off, we were match fit when the venues opened again and we worked harder than ever , doing around 70 duo gigs a year. We kept leaning on venues to hire the band and that is starting to happen. We've had a bit of a revolving door trying to settle a line up or two

So, we do have a two lineups

we got No one, the funk thang,

yep, That's the beautiful PATTY LEE playing bass and singing at the same time, it;s a hard thang, she's got medals and trophies to prove it, especially for singing, playing bass , riding a unicycle and feeding the dog simultaneously. We got me , Stuart Seagrave. I play guitar and fall over things at the same time. No medals , just an ever increasing damages bill. We got BRETT TIERNEY, bangin away on dem drums, skillfully but you really should see what he can do with a crossbow

Our second config, is where Patty puts down the bass and PETER WOOD picks it up, only it;s transmuted, it's a big bloody bass fiddly kinda thingy

PETE WOOD, it think can do almost anything and a few at the same time. I Imagine the effusion of God's love and gentle insinuations of Hellfire, don't know, haven't actually seen it but I'm waiting with fully pert curiosity. See you at a gig,

we have decided, that our "not Sunday gig combo" (Pete can't do Sunday's) will be called OUR TEAL BLU, a name we used between 2014 and 2019. We we're "No Beef Patty" `n' Stu from 2008 until 2014 and from 2019 until the present. That name will continue for out Sunday's band, which has it's own page, and will be the duo and the more rock funk thang. We will start to tidy up the sites , so that the differences become a parrot and we can teach it to sing back up vocals.
