Some in the fitness industry want you to think that different fitness goals and getting healthier are two different paths.

They're not.

You can get fitter, stronger, more toned, even lose body fat AND improve your cholesterol, blood pressure and energy — all at the same time.

The programs that actually work don't just improve performance or shrink the number on the scale.

They make your whole body better.

Your action this week: Next time you're evaluating a program, ask yourself — is this going to make me healthier, stronger and fitter or just lighter?

That one question will filter out a lot of the noise.

Slower digestion and nausea are super common on GLP-1 and GIP meds — especially early on or when the dose increases.

We teach our clients how to manage those side effects so they can keep training and feeling good:

☑️ Smaller, balanced meals spread across the day
☑️ Exercise to help digestion
☑️ Hydration + fibre balance
☑️ Foods that soothe your gut rather than irritate it

The goal isn’t to “push through” discomfort — it’s to work with your body so you feel better and still see results.

And learning how to eat this way means that you get to keep your results down the track even if you come off your medication for any reason.

No one here is comparing anyone, competing or worrying about anyone but themselves (except in a good way ☺️)

We pride ourselves on encouraging a welcoming community because we know that one of the biggest barriers to starting is 'what will everyone else think'

A little pre-workout caffeine can actually make a buzz-worthy difference. It can help give you a little boost during your workout and reduce both physical and mental fatigue. One strong cup of coffee 20-30 minutes before your workout should do the trick.
No need for expensive pre workout supps!!

Your body will get fitter/stronger with every training session you complete where you challenge your current level.

If you want a quick fix you're out of luck.

There are no magic bullets. Just great habits and systems that must be implemented over time.

There's no faking it.

It's probably one of the only things left where you actually need to do the work to see the result.

The fittest, healthiest and leanest people of the world worked hard and you need to too.

THAI SPICY PORK MINCE SALAD

500g pork mince (equally as good with chicken or turkey)
100ml lime juice
1/2 cup chopped mint leaves
1/4 cup dry roasted cashews, chopped finely
1-2 tsp dried chillies-to taste. Be skimpy and add more if needed.
4 tbsp chopped spring onions
2 tbsp fish sauce
cabbage or lettuce leaves to line plates
cucumber, tomato, grated carrot etc

Brown mince very well-nice and crispy.

Once cooked, combine with all other ingredients and serve over lettuce or cabbage leaves

Arrange salad around the plate to serve. Your family can add their own salad and use leaves to wrap the ingredients, or eat with a knife and fork.

Be VERY generous with salad.
