Taking a break while raising my babies 👦🏼👧🏼

So I’m about 18 months late in posting this but I’ve had a couple of enquiries that prompted me to finally post🫠🫠

After working right up until the week before my daughter was born I had full intention to continue to work and take on clients once we got out of the newborn window and into a bit of a routine at home.
Boy was I delusional 😂 with my son starting school, my amazing husband working the long hours he does in our business and then navigating the afternoon routine with a baby- now toddler, adding PT clients into this chaos was just a recipe for disaster and burnout.

Another factor that I don’t think gets spoken about enough is how much personal energy and investment PT’s and coaches put into their clients. Good PT’s are emotionally invested & strive to see you succeed. Outside the time you pay for your sessions, we msg, check in & program in our own time.
I love training people and seeing them grow and exceed the expectations they put on themselves but I also know that right now I don’t have the energy or emotional room to give clients what they deserve in a PT.

While my babies are still young and very dependent on us my energy needs to go into raising and supporting my family. 🤍

“There’s more than one way to skin a cat”

Truth.

There’s no right or wrong diet method & no one size fits all perfect program that suits every individual but behind each diet and program is the principles of adhering to a calorie deficit over time and progressive overload.

You won’t see progress in your training without overload and you won’t see fat loss without a deficit.
The method you use to adhere to those principles is what suits you 👍🏼

Here are some ideas for a winter warm-up:

A brisk walk or light jog
