Wishing our 6 Bushrangers Celine, Andrew, Ken, Haydn, Mark and Hayden a very successful week at the Queensland State District Sides.
Round 1 of competition commences tomorrow with the Downs Ladies vs Cunnigham and the Downs Men vs Gateway.

In the weekend the Mens Championship Singles Final was played between Luke Day & Mark Algate. Luke came through with the win and will now go on to represent Norths at the Downs District play-offs later in the year.
Well done to Mark for making the final which is never an easy feat.

This week the Ladies Championship Singles Final was played in a close match between Del Clark and Celine Samin. Congratulations Del for claiming the title.
Del will go on to represent Norths at the Downs District play-offs later in the year.

A very successful weekend was had for 5 of our Norths Bushrangers at the Downs District Championship 4s event.
Haydn Weir skipped his team of Jake, Sam & Robert to victory, taking home the accolades for 2026.
Lisa Bryant skipped a composite side of Natalie, Leslee & Nadien, taking out the final with a nailbiting win to claim the 2026 title also.

Today the final of the Ladies Championship Triples was played. Congratulations to Joy Pauli, Cathy Egan and Lisa Bryant for taking out the title. A shout out also to finalists Sue Ramsay, Lyn Mott & Del Clark.
Joy, Cathy & Lisa will go on to represent the club at the District playoffs later in the year.

Chinchilla bowls club are chasing a player to help out a team in their Open carnival this weekend, if anyone is looking for a game. Might be able to arrange accommodation if needed.
