Spaces are quickly filling for the Finishing Day this year.
Come join us from 9am-4pm on 25 October 2026 at the Dalton Community Hall, Chapel St, DALTON NSW for a lovely day of sewing and friendship.

Here are some of my Heirloom Hexagons from the class from Wendy Nutt. About to draw on granddaughter wisdom for the layout but will wait until kids are in bed tonight before I attempt the Y seams - just in case I need to use ‘words of persuasion’ 🤐🤣.

As we celebrate the end of the 24th Gunning Patchwork Weekend, thank you to everyone who made the weekend such a success.

Thank you to the participants who came from far and wide, those who have been for many years and those who attended for the first time

Thank you to the tutors who shared their knowledge, skills, tips and tricks

Thank you to the catering team for the fabulous lunches, slices, cakes and scones with home made jam

Thank you to the organising committee for the significant investment of time in the weeks and months leading up to the weekend and the long days that made it such a great weekend.

Thank you to the support crew who worked late to set up the venues and then pack them down until late on Sunday

Thank you to the Gunning Community for welcoming everyone for the weekend and providing great venues

We are looking forward to the 25th Gunning Patchwork weekend in 2027!
