Week of Speed event replicating Australia Day Course

Registration from 430pm @ Gunnedah Pool

START TIMES:
5:45pm ENTICER 100m swim / 3 laps Bike/ 2 laps run
$5 ENTRY
6:15pm MAIN RACE 200 swim / 6 laps Bike /4 laps run
$10 ENTRY

Regarding Sundays Australia Day races - any mum or dad watching their kids or GCTC members wanting to assist - we are looking for a few more helpers to make sure our tri runs smoothly. Please let us know if you are willing to take on a small job on Sunday. Thank you!

Great racing yesterday at our first twilight Triathlon for the season. Three seperate races catered for all levels of ability and the big smiling faces says it all!

Many thanks to Gordon Turner Motorcycles for sponsoring 1st, 2nd & 3rd places in the Enticer and Short courses.

/TRI5 - RACE 2 REPORT/

Record numbers and a smoking pace was set at our 2nd Tri5 event. Tarra Doolan smashed the course with a time of 21:46 for the 5k narrowly beating Chris Barnes. Mason Louis and Nash Carlyon battled it out in the 2k event with Mason finishing sprinting to the finish line first in a time of 8:06.

Congratulations to all who competed. It was great to see the encouragement of all competitors at the finish line. Charlie Barnes and Mason Louis took home the money with the prize pool this week $36.00.

Next TRI5 event is scheduled for the long weekend. Hope to see you all there.
