CAR 638 | FINKE ‘50th Anniversary’🏜️🏆
We’ve officially completed the 2026 Finke Desert Race — and this one means a little bit more.
This result didn’t just happen over the weekend.. it’s the outcome of countless late nights, early mornings and endless hours in the shed. The time, pressure and effort that goes into getting a car to the start line — let alone the finish, is something not everyone sees.
To come away with 9th in our class and 42nd outright is something we’re incredibly proud of!
Firstly a MASSIVE thank you to the entire team at FBL Motor Sports, This is a true team result.
Special mention to Tim & Belshy — your work behind the scenes and the hours you’ve put into this car and past week didn’t go unnoticed. This finish is just as much yours.
Big thanks to Ash’s girls and Josh for making the trip to support us, it means more than you know and your support never goes unnoticed.

Now, HUGE congratulations to Dani on finishing 3rd in her class, getting on that podium was unreal. And to Lach for completing his very first Finke—an incredible achievement, you should be proud of yourself!
And from Ash: Congratuarions to Hutchy on completing his very first Finke!! I couldn’t have asked for a better navigator alongside me.

Unfortunately, Dani & Tyson in car 635 wasn’t able to complete both days due to mechanical issues—but that’s racing. There’s always next time!
