Fuego Football Academy is now accepting Expressions of Interest for:

🏆 Full-Time Academy Program – 2027 Season

We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate players in the following age groups:

✅ U12 (Born 2015)

Our programs are designed for players who are looking to further develop their football in a professional and challenging environment.

SPL Season 1 ⚽🔥

Another massive week for our U10s and U11s squads, with both teams producing outstanding results against strong academies.

The growth and development within these groups has been incredible to watch. We have driven the boys to keep delivering more consistent performances each week, the progress has been second to none.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but the hard work, resilience, and commitment from the players continues to shine through every matchday. Proud of the way these teams keep building week after week.

SPL 2026 – EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN ⚽️

We are now seeking committed, high-level players for SPL 2026 across the U9 – U12 age groups.

This program is designed for ambitious and elite-level players currently competing in JDL and advanced development environments who are looking to further elevate their game in a professional, high-performance setting.

How often do you see APIA Leichhardt FC down to Greystanes for a friendly? 👀

At Fuego Football Academy, we only work with the best—and this was another great test for our group. In a tightly contested match, we were ultimately defeated, but the result only tells part of the story.

The biggest win came in our Under 12s performance. We had four Under 11s step up and deliver strong performances, and even gave debuts to two Under 9s who didn’t look out of place at all. That’s what real development looks like.

This is why we do what we do.

The Fuego Falcons U12s have made an impressive start to Season 1 of the Sydney Premier League, consistently showing growth, resilience, and quality against some of Sydneys best football players. Competing in an academy-level environment, the boys have embraced the challenge.

The month of March saw our 12s team compete against some of the best academies in Sydney.

The Sydney Premier League provides a unique platform, bringing together a mix of players and exposing them to a higher standard of football beyond traditional park competitions. This experience has accelerated the Falcons’ development, both individually and as a team.

Through the support of Fuego Football Academy these players are being given the opportunity to test themselves at the highest level, building confidence, improving their game understanding.

As 2025 comes to a close, we want to thank all our players, parents and community for an incredible year. Your passion and commitment continue to push Fuego Football Academy to new levels every season.

We have always put players development on the forefront of what we have tried to achieve, not just training but a source of development, career progression and providing new challenges to players within our community.

We’re excited to share that 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest year ahead of us with amazing new programs and developments on the way, including:

Thank you to all the players and parents who attended our first Fuego Falcons Academy – SPL 2026 Winter competition trial on Saturday. We are incredibly grateful for the strong turnout despite the crazy weather, and the dedication shown by everyone involved. It was fantastic to see so many players giving their all and showcasing their skills on the field. The commitment shown has set the tone for an exciting 2026 SPL campaign.

We INVITE all parents and players to join us again for the second and final trial on Saturday, 6th December 2025. This final session will play a key role in shaping our squads for the upcoming SPL 2026 Winter season. We encourage everyone to come ready, focused, and showcasing there skills.
We look forward to seeing you all there.

🔥 FUEGO FALCONS ACADEMY – TRIALS TOMORROW 🦅

Our first trial will be held on Saturday 29th November 2025 at Daniel Street Park, top field.

- Please ensure players arrive 15mins prior to the session.
- Ensure players have shinpads and boots ready to commence.

Under 9s and 10s - commencing - 9am - 10:15am
Under 11s and 12s- commencing - 10:30am - 11:45am

All players are invited to trial for the Fuego Falcons Full-Time Program — an elite development pathway for players ready to take their game to the next level!
