Purebred dogs are often misunderstood. Let’s clear the air and separate fact from fiction 👇

1️⃣ Myth: Purebred dogs are all unhealthy
✅ Fact: Responsible breeders health-test, plan matings carefully and work to reduce inherited conditions. Poor health is linked to poor breeding, not pedigree status.

I want to send a heartfelt thank you to Schnauzer Rescue QLD for their incredible support of my homebred boy Hiccup, now aged 10 years old.
Following the sad passing of his dedicated owner Val last October Hiccup was rescued and provided with essential veterinary care and medication. Thanks also to all looking out for one another in the wonderful network of the schnauzer community in SEQld.
The dedication of their foster care network is truly inspiring and I am deeply grateful that Hiccup was in such compassionate hands and they helped bring him home to us👌
