TTR travelled up to Toowoomba on Saturday to put the big girl through her paces and iron out a few issues we had at Grafton.
Just before the grand parade Toowoomba Speedway was hit with a scud of rain. Making the track very wet.
Drawing poll for our first heat, since having not taken to this track for 5 years to say the least I was a tad nervous.
But when I saw the green light, in my eyes green means go, so I sent her.
With the track being wet I drove conservatively but we did manage to take the win by a few car lengths.
We didn’t have long to celebrate the win as I was delegated back 2 positions for jumping the start.
But the great news is I can still drive.
Starting Heat 2 from the rear with the track conditions getting better I managed to get to p5.
Realising that with the lack of seat time I have had in the last few years and with the expectations with a new car there is always a few issues to iron out.
The rain won on the night with the meeting being called early. So no feature was run.
We come away with good car speed being second fastest on the night.
We feel that we are moving in the right direction.
This all couldn’t be done without my sponsors and supporters.

After a great week at work Team TTR decided to go for a scenic drive. Up the road and over the mountains we went and had lovely breakfast at at Kyogle.
After some more driving we ended up at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.
We are all unloaded and the marbles have been drawn.
The No5 drew p1 for the first heat. Let’s see if we can cut a few laps.

Following his good win over a tough field of drivers, Jai Jones JMJ Racing put down his win to The Battery Barn sticker on his sail panel.

TTR Racing loaded up the bus and decided to go racing at Grafton on Good Friday at Grafton Speedway. With this being only the second outing in the No5 AMCA, we still have a few issues to iron out. Although we are very happy with how the car gets off the starts, we just have to figure out the rest now. Thanks to Shaq's Speedway Pics for some great photos of the car through the night. Hopefully our next outing will be at Dubbo for the NSW title in May.

Team TTR decided that with the rising cost of fuel they would give the Narrabri race meet a miss.

We are heading up to Lismore Speedway this weekend to give the No5 a spin before the Easter Long Weekend.

We are looking forward to the long weekend doing the Easter Trail where we will be racing at both Gilgandra and Dubbo. Having a look at the Dubbo track before the AMCA NSW title in May.

We hope she comes back from Lismore a bit straighter this time round.
