Shadow boxing is one of the most underrated aspects of training.
It's not just another way if warming warm up.
When we shadow box it's easy to slip into auto pilot.
Instead we should focus on how we're moving, how certain techniques are feeling, trying to emulate certain styles from fighters we have been studying and focusing on breathing, speed and balance.
Last but not least we should be creating a scene in our mind during shadow boxing that we intend to execute on fight night.
Because you can not be what you can not see.
