A BIG Thank You ❤️
Yesterday morning, while we were on our way to cater the O&K Grand Final, our beloved Kate was involved in a serious car accident on the Benalla–Yarrawonga Road while towing one of our coolroom trailers.
As a club, we would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to everyone who stopped and assisted Kate at the scene. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and support shown.
To Glenn, thank you so much for everything you did to help Kate.
To the couple from Chesney Vale, who were on their way to a Parkrun in Mansfield, thank you very much for stopping and offering your assistance.
To Laura, thank you for all your help.
We would also like to thank the traffic controllers who were working just down the road on the rail, Victoria Police, Ambulance, CFA, SES, and Benalla Towing — Leigh & Chris.
And to our favourite fireman, Beno — it was so lovely to see your face arriving at the scene. ❤️
And to Gay and Stace who were travelling either side of Kate ❤️❤️
If we have forgotten anyone, (possibly someone in a black Ute), we sincerely apologise, but please know that every bit of assistance was greatly appreciated.
Thankfully, Kate has come out of the accident with no major injuries, and we feel incredibly lucky to still have her with us. ❤️ It was a very frightening situation, and we are extremely grateful that she is okay.
We would also like to thank everyone for their patience, support and understanding while we ran a little late getting everything set up at the Granny (and were without a bit of stock which was left behind in the paddock!) as well as everyone who reached out to check in and offer their support.
