📣📣 Fiji Player Introduction 📣📣

Our latest player who will be spreading his wings and flying across the Pacific to Fiji in September is Henko Patterson. One of our absolute freight trains in our forwards Henko brings power and precision to the field and awesome Rugby 7s IQ.

We asked him what he is looking forward to about our Fiji 7s tour:

"Most excited about meeting the teammates that come from all over Australia. Excited to make great memories with them. And also to play some great rugby against the mighty Fijians."

Our first round of tour acceptance emails have just been sent out for our 2027 New Zealand Under 13 Boys Rugby Tour.

Congratulations to all those who applied and that have been accepted into this epic tour of rugby and culture from across the Tasman.

Tour Contracts will be sent out on Thursday and once signed that will secure your sons place on a tour that will create life long memories and give our youngest tourers a taste of what international rugby could be.

After an incredibly successful information night last night we are excited to announce that our 2027 Under 13 Boys New Zealand Tour is now accepting applications.

The tour is open to boys from around Australia who are currently playing club or school rugby and want to experience the incredible culture and rugby that only New Zealand can offer.

📣📣 Assistant Coach Announcement 📣📣

We are please to announce Shane Ramsay as our Assistant Coach (Forwards) for our 2027 New Zealand Tour for the Under 13 Boys departing in June 2027.

A New Zealand native Shane brings his amazing blend of knowledge, passion and culture to what will be an unforgettable tour for the boys selected to go on the 2027 New Zealand Tour.

Congratulations and welcome aboard Shane 🇳🇿 🇳🇿

Our New Zealand tour will commence with a Gold Coast training camp, followed by games and rugby experiences that only Auckland can provide. The boys will then make their way down to Christchurch where they will see first hand how one of the world's most successful sporting organisations, the Canterbury Crusaders, build leaders & players on and off the field that is the envy of rugby clubs and sporting organisations from around the world, not to mention getting the opporunity to play in some of the most picturesque grounds in New Zealand's South Island.

📣📣 Fiji 7s Tour Player Introduction 🇫🇯🏝️

Joining our explosive Fiji 7s Tour team is Kulan Parry from Wanderers Two Blues Rugby club. Kulan brings is an absolute weapon in our mid field and attacks at will and defends with aggression and can't wait to go up against the Fijians in their own backyard.

A special thanks to Mayfield Bowling Club and Onsite Welder & Machinery Repairs for their support of Kulan's tour and giving him the opportunity to play a game he loves in Paradise.

What Kulan is most looking forward to about our Fiji Tour:

📣📣 Fiji Tour Player Introduction 🇫🇯🏝️

It's time to welcome another exciting 7s superstar to our Fijian lineup.

Josh Payne is an exciting rugby prospect who loves all aspects of the game in both XVs and 7s. He is outstanding in attack, defence and reads the game incredibly well. We can't wait to see what he can do on the fields of Fiji.

📣📣 Fiji 7s Tour Player Introduction 🇫🇯🏝️

We are really excited to introduce Mason Kapo who is joining our tour from Point Cook, on the outskirts of Melbourne and our first Victorian tourist.

Mase is a barnstorming forward in both Rugby 7s & League and is going to bring the physicality and agility that we will need to take to the Fijians in their own backyard.

We asked Mase what he is most looking forward to on this tour:

Most excited to meet new team mates from interstate, and an opportunity to play against some good competition from the Fiji teams. This will give me more exposure at an international level. I can’t wait to get into it.

Great to be back in Townsville at the QLD Country Rugby championships. Some awesome footy already being played and we’re only halfway through round 1.

Great to be able to watch some of our upcoming tourists do their thing live rather than on film.
