Well a week ago we headed up for our 3rd race meeting this year with Replica Tourers at QR to see if the tuning issues had been put to bed after 2 failed race meetings already. Just a few laps into practice the steering failed and the left knuckle broke just as I went to turn into turn 3 which sent me into the litter.
A number of parts were damaged in this incident so I won’t be at Lakeside unfortunately which is disappointing as I was so looking forward to going to a track I hadn’t been to before. I guess I’m lucky in some way that the steering broke at QR rather than Lakeside due to the lack of run off I’ve heard so much about.
Great awareness from Tamzin as it could have been a lot worse, I’m so happy you were able to continue to race and race well.
We stayed to watch every race over the rest of weekend which looked like a ton of fun with many battles going on within the race.
Many thanks to my family and sponsors for helping get the car ready in time, sorry it was a let down.

Last weekend wrap up at Queensland Raceway. I’ll keep it short and sweet because that’s exactly what it was.

Saturday was looking promising — set a PB, qualified well, and Race 1 wasn’t too bad either. Unfortunately, Sunday rolled around and tuning issues plagued the car again… déjà vu from the last meeting.

Extremely frustrating way to end the weekend, with the car not completing a single race on Sunday.

That’s racing though. We’ll regroup, sort the issues out, and come back stronger for the next round hopefully🤞🏼Replica Tourers

2024 - 2 years ago today I picked this up with no seat at the time, hence I’m sitting on a bag of rags.
April 2025 I installed a seat and drove it for the very first time on the 16th of April at Morgan Park Raceway did 2 practice days at MP then my first ever race - June 2025 at Queensland Raceway with Replica Tourers 🏁

Today we pause to remember.

On this ANZAC Day, we honour the courage, sacrifice and spirit of the men and women from Australia and New Zealand who have served and continue to serve.

From Gallipoli to today, their legacy lives on — not just in history books, but in the values we carry forward: mateship, resilience and respect.

Grateful for the freedoms we have and the people who made them possible.

“Morgan Park Raceway Weekend Wrap-Up”

37 cars on the grid—always going to be a big weekend, and it delivered. Replica Tourers

Qualifying didn’t fall our way, with fuel cell foam getting into the line and restricting supply, which hurt performance. From there, the issues kept coming… something’s not quite right in the tune (no power out of the corners—still chasing it), and a new front brake setup proved the pads weren’t up to the weight of the car.

Frustrating? Absolutely. But that’s racing.

Still, we had some great battles on Sunday and plenty of fun along the way. Huge thanks to Morgan Park Raceway and Replica Tourers for putting on a great weekend with an even better group of people 🏁

Massive thanks to Jas & Jake Grimmond, and Jas & Hayden Chiswell, for the help all weekend—especially with plenty going on in your own camp as well. Couldn’t do it without you 🏁🏁
