Beyond the PA gear, I keep things simple and intentional, small essentials that help me feel grounded, prepared and able to fully drop into the performance.

1/Water for steady hydration between sets
2/My iPad for lyrics + setlists (OnSong + Ultimate Guitar are my go-tos)
3/💄 A few makeup refresh pieces ie-lip gloss, liner, bronzer or blush
4/Throat lozenges or gum if my voice feels a little sensitive
6/And yes… Panadol or Nurofen just in case 😉

These essentials support me to feel calm, confident and ready to sing!

🎤 From open-mic nights at 18, to busking Melbourne streets, flying back and forth to Nashville, New York shows, photo shoots in Montréal, singing on a paddle steamboat in Japan, UK gigs and writing in London — I’ve lived the wild ride of a singer-songwriter chasing connection and fulfilment through music.

I romanticised this life, but I also needed direction — a guide — when the dream felt too big or too lonely. I often wish I’d had what I’m now creating for others on this same path.

Thankyou for the testimonial. Carly is a beautiful example of someone who came to singing lessons and unlocked such untapped potential.
