🌊 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – BRONZE MEDALLION & SRC 🌊

Surfers Paradise SLSC is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for a Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) course, which we are hoping to run from mid-July, subject to sufficient interest.

If you've ever considered becoming a Surf Lifesaver, now is the perfect time to let us know!

Gain the essential skills to:
✔️ Patrol our beaches and help keep the community safe
✔️ Provide water safety support for Nippers and Carnivals
✔️ Learn vital first aid and rescue techniques
✔️ Build fitness, confidence, and teamwork skills
✔️ Become part of the proud lifesaving tradition at Surfers Paradise SLSC

📋 Entry Requirements
🔹 Applicants must be financial members of Surfers Paradise SLSC.

🏊 Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC)
• Minimum 13 years of age on the date of final assessment
• 200m unaided swim (overarm stroke) in 5 minutes or less

🏊 Bronze Medallion
• Minimum 15 years of age on the date of final assessment
• 400m unaided swim in 9 minutes or less

Whether you're looking to volunteer, develop new skills, support Nippers and carnivals, or join our patrol teams, we'd love to hear from you.

We have a social media shoot planned for this Thursday 23rd April at 2:30pm and it would be great to have a few Nippers involved if possible.
