Leave your ego, at the door, and welcome to Iron Asylum!. The golden days of training in a gym are long gone. Today, gyms are commercial, which in my opinion, attracts a generalized crowd. There is no problem with this, but for a gym like Iron Asylum, it is here to promote;
- Respect
- Integrity
- Accountability
- Comradery
No one should feel intimidated to walk into a gym. It doesn’t matter if y
ou are;
- Overweight
- Underweight
- Male
- Female
- Young
- Old
- Bodybuilder
- Strongman
- Powerlifter
- Sporting Athlete
- Post pregnancy
- Post Injury
- Post Surgery
You should always feel welcomed, walking into a gym where everyone is there to support and help each other. This gym is NOT a social club, it is not about gossip, egos, and using phones on the gym floor. Unfortunately, in this day and age, gyms across the world are too busy trying to keep everyone happy, that’s it's lost, and it's moral and sense of direction. Iron Asylum is here to help people reach their goals. You won’t simply be signed up as a member and forgotten about like every other number. Every membership will have add-on incentives to have personalised, custom coaching from different tiers of carefully selected coaches. If someone is experienced and does not feel the need to need extra coaching, that is fine. The point is, no one is to feel left out, alone, or intimidated when walking into a gym. Iron Asylum does not promote cardio. Cardio should be done in the great outdoors, not on a hamster wheel inside a gym. The question to be asked is this;
Do you burn more calories getting stronger in the gym, or sitting on a treadmill for 45mins counting the clock? On that question, which would you call ‘fun’? There will be no tolerance for bullying, gossip, messiness, or disrespect in Iron Asylum. This facility has the policy of one warning, followed by termination of the membership. The membership will always be capped at 100 members only, so unlike commercial gyms, you can not come sign up, get a tag and go on your way. Every potential member will go through an application process, to make sure they will best suit the gym.
