Thomoz Tomahawks . The team was created to play competitive basketball above social level basketball. The team now has players from Brisbane and Sunny Coast in Australia.

The Instigators, the Thompson brothers (Blair and Matt) and Gary, a player and friend, brought about the team name, Thomoz Tomahawks. Gary, with his artistic flair soon began to work on a logo and jerseys to showcase the new team. With the support of the Thompson family business, Thompson Billiard Tables, the jerseys became a reality hence the pool ball you see on our jerseys. We then had a bit of

fun creating the names of our team members, check out our jerseys for a bit of a laugh. The make up of our team began mainly with Gold Coast based players for our first competition at the 2015 Suncoast Spinners Wheelchair Basketball Tournament. Did we forget to mention we play wheelchair basketball? Basketball is basketball, no matter how you look at it. We hope you enjoy our page.

Despite significant efforts made to reschedule the 2020 Wheelchair Basketball League Seasons, Basketball Australia, in consultation with the Wheelchair National League Clubs, has determined that the National Wheelchair Leagues will not proceed in 2020.
