📣 2027 NETBALL - A GRADE COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

The Gol Gol Hawks are excited to announce Bronte as our A Grade Coach for the upcoming season.

Bronte brings great knowledge, passion and commitment to the role, and we’re looking forward to seeing her lead our A Grade squad into an exciting season ahead.

Joining Bronte will be a familiar face and true legend of the Gol Gol Hawks, Melisa Hedrics, who returns to the club in a Coaching Mentor & Training Support role.

Melisa will work alongside Bronte throughout the season, sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge while providing valuable support and guidance at training.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have two passionate Hawks working together to lead and develop our A Grade group.

Congratulations Bronte, and welcome back Melisa. We can’t wait to see what the season ahead brings. 🤎💛

🏆 GRAND FINAL TIME! 🏆

After a huge season, we’ve got two Hawks sides playing for premiership glory this Saturday out at the Lake! 🤎💛

Our Under 15s have started our Saturdays in style all year, leading the way for our netballers week after week. Now they’ve set themselves up for a huge opportunity, one they well and truly deserve, the chance to win a premiership!

It’s an early start with the girls taking the court at 9am, so let’s get a big Hawks crowd out there early, make plenty of noise and cheer these girls home!

Then it’s over to the footy field, where our Women’s Football side have once again set themselves apart with another incredibly consistent year. Now they have the opportunity to make history again and go BACK-TO-BACK! 🏆🏆

It’s a huge achievement just to put themselves in this position again and a credit to the work the girls have put in throughout the entire season. Let’s get around them, be loud and help cheer them on as they look to bring home their second premiership!

A huge amount of credit also goes to all the people behind these two teams; coaches, training partners, runners, trainers and water runners. So much work happens behind the scenes each week, and without these people our teams simply wouldn’t run as smoothly as they do.

Let’s finish 2026 on a high! Get out to the Lake this Saturday, get behind the Hawks, and then head back to the club afterwards to celebrate the year together. 🤎💛

🏆 WHAT A NIGHT FOR THE HAWKS! 🏆

A huge congratulations to all of our incredible senior footballers and netballers who were recognised at last night’s Millewa Football Netball League Awards!

We couldn’t be prouder of the success and achievements of our players this season.

We also had multiple Hawks players named in the Team of the Year across both football and netball, which is an incredible achievement and a true reflection of the talent, hard work and dedication within our club. 👏
