🥋🥋Meet the trainer🥋🥋
Name: Rachael Dent
Rachael has been training in Kyokushin Karate for 32 years, achieving her 2nd dan black belt, her belt is not only recognised in Australia but in Japan as well.
She has been teaching others Kyokushin Karate since she was 15 years old, training both males and females, kids to seniers.
She took a step back from teaching to start a family but is excited for this opportunity to get back into teaching through two seperate classes;
1. Female only self defence - This class will be an all female Karate class that will focus heavily on the self defence aspects of Karate
2. Mixed self defence class - This class will be a male and female fully structured and traditional Kyokushin Karate.
Karate is a primarily male dominated sport which can be quite confronting, but it doesn't have to be that way, Rachael Is offering a fantastic opportunity for just females to train together, however she also loves to keep to the traditional Kyokushin style by teaching both males and females in the mixed class.
This gives the community an amazing opportunity for those that need it,
if you have ever had issues with a lack of confidence, family violence, struggled with bullying, felt unsafe walking through the streets on your own, these classes could be a perfect way for you to gain confidence, learn new skills to defend yourself, help you keep fit and stay in shape and meet some new people along the way.
"I have always had a passion for teaching and self defence. I love watching people of all ages grow and develop, whether they are training for there health, fitness, mental health or self defence."
