Instagram: The highest grade reached was D3 in 2006, and the club competed in D4 in season 2007.

The St Mary's AFC and Salesian OCAFC announced in November 2007 that they had agreed on merging the two clubs, to be known as St Mary's Salesian Amateur Football Club and to play in the D2 division of the VAFA in the 2008 Season. The original St Mary's Football Club started in 1932, and competed in the Eastern Suburban Churches Football Association until 1989. St Mary's Amateur Football Club joine

d the VAFA in 1990 with two sides in F Grade, and competed variously in F, E, D4 and D3 over the next 18 seasons. The original Salesian Football Club started in the early 1970's, and competed in the Eastern Suburban Churches League until 1989. The Salesian Old Collegians Amateur Football Club joined the VAFA in 1990 with one side fielded in the Warriors Section. The Club fielded two sides in F Grade in 1990. Week 11.

A split home-and-away fixture this weekend as the Women’s Seniors and Men’s Thirds return to Ferndale Park, while the Men’s Seniors and Reserves travel to take on UHS-VU. The U19s are also on the road against Beaumaris.

The Women’s Seniors will be chasing 6 wins in a row as they host Old Camberwell, while all sides look to start the second half of the season strongly.

Get around the Saints this weekend.

Huge weekend at the home of football this weekend!!

Starting with the u19s in a Friday night blockbuster, it’s an STC grudge match as SMS president Sid “Soup” Jones goes up against the Glen Eira President, his mate Alex “Beach” Ross!

The quad header on Saturday is sure to be a belter too. Get there early for the women’s as they kick the dew off it. Following, the men’s reserves and seniors go at it, before we are brought home by the thirds in the Kristin Stewart time slot!!

Get there early and hang around for a couple dim sims and lemonades during the day.

Dress up, gather your table and join us for the 2026 St Mary’s Salesian Annual Ball.

One of the highlights of the club calendar, the night includes a three-course meal, beverage package, DJ, raffle and silent auction.
