Instagram: The highest grade reached was D3 in 2006, and the club competed in D4 in season 2007.

The St Mary's AFC and Salesian OCAFC announced in November 2007 that they had agreed on merging the two clubs, to be known as St Mary's Salesian Amateur Football Club and to play in the D2 division of the VAFA in the 2008 Season. The original St Mary's Football Club started in 1932, and competed in the Eastern Suburban Churches Football Association until 1989. St Mary's Amateur Football Club joined the VAFA in 1990 with two sides in F Grade, and competed variously in F, E, D4 and D3 over the next 18 seasons. The original Salesian Football Club started in the early 1970's, and competed in the Eastern Suburban Churches League until 1989. The Salesian Old Collegians Amateur Football Club joined the VAFA in 1990 with one side fielded in the Warriors Section. The Club fielded two sides in F Grade in 1990. A disappointing and sad day for the u19s after what has been such an exciting season.

After a tough start to the year, the boys rallied and finished top spot in division 2. We are really proud of the side and what they have achieved this season, and are more than excited to see what the future holds for this young group — whether that be in the u19s or the men’s senior program.

Thanks to Matt Higgins, Marty, and all those involved in the u19s this season. An outstanding year.

Our U19s take on Parkdale Vultures this Sunday at Trevor Barker Beach Oval, with the first bounce at 9:20am.

Get down to Sandringham and support the boys as they look to finish an outstanding season on the biggest stage.

A disappointing finish to what was such a brilliant season for the men’s reserves.

After promotion last year, they stepped up another level and produced another great season, going deep into the finals once again.

A huge effort from the entire group and a credit to coaches Damien Sutherland and Erwin Leyden for their work throughout the year. Plenty to be proud of.

U19s win by a point and are straight through to the Grand Final, earning the week off.

Reserves get the job done and will face Kew this week in the Preliminary Final.

The fixture for the reserves match will be posted here once released by the VAFA.

A massive finals weekend ahead.

Women’s Preliminary Final and U19 Qualifying Final on Saturday, followed by the Reserves Semi Final on Sunday.

Get around all three sides as they push towards a Grand Final.

The Women win their elimination final and are through to the Preliminary Final.

U19s finish on top and head into the Semi Final, while the Reserves are set for an Elimination Final.

The Women take on Old Camberwell in their semi final, while the Seniors and Reserves head to Oakleigh. The U19s kick off the weekend under lights at Ferndale on Friday night.
