After lifting the championship the boys at FCEER are farewelling the indoor courts with a final game against The Teachers. We hope to see a huge turnout which will no doubt be an emotional send off.

Champions 2016

The team at FCEER would like to thank all its loyal fans who were present at the grand final today to see the East down the Dabbers, 4-2. The East proved too strong for a noble effort by the Dabbers in a true display of respect and sportsmanship.

Goalscorers from today's game: Marko (1), Umut (1), Sargon (1) and Nikola (1).

A truley wonderful way to cap off an undefeated season for the East.

With less than 24 hours untill the grand final kick off, the FCEER most memorable moments comes to a conclusion with moment number 1. This being none other than the inaugural team photo prior to the club's first official match.

Continuing our grand final countdown is memorable moment #3, our most loyal fans celebrate our resounding victory over the teachers. Hasan "Freshy" Disbudak made a guest appearance as the Roys allowed a fan to take the court with them. Duke "Dabber" Passi missed out on this opportunity after getting too friendly with a cat and breaking his arm and was instead replaced with the pale Declan "Deccas" Grant.

In anticipation for Tuesday's indoor grand final, FCEER will be counting down the top 5 moments of this season thus far.

Starting off, key moment #5, Marko 'Brickwall' Ninković celebrating his first hat-trick of the season against Non Basketball Players FC. A truley memorable day where the East where unchanged and produced a double digit scoreline, which will forever be remembered in the clubs prestigious history.

Make sure to be at the main gym tomorrow lunchtime. The Roys will be playing a crucial elimination match against "Al Halal" (formerly known as the billaries). After a long break the Roys finally make there long awaited return in the absence of Skipper Tekkers due to an ongoing condition of eczema on his ball sacks. The boys from East will start as follows:

Volkan
Marko Eddy
Nik
Umut

Boosted by the return of our star target Umut and stars Kane and Sargon on the bench, the Roys hope to "play their premiership quarter" and head onto their way to the final.

Make sure to head down to the main gym at lunchtime tomorrow as the East Essendon Roys will be taking on Dabbers FC. A large crowd is expected to bring a pulsating atmosphere as we would like to welcome back trio Eddy, Nik and Fahir. We would also like to mention star player Sargon will be out due to International duties. The starting line up is as follows:

Finally a reminder to the usual, no drinks or food permitted in the gym.
