Back on the field from the extended Christmas/Summer break, This Friday for Week 7 kicks off in perfect conditions!
Athletes will be raring to recommence the season and we are excited to see them break their pre-Christmas PB's and records!🙌 New families are always welcome, so if you’ve been thinking about joining Little Aths, now’s a great time to come along and give it a go!

Hello Athletes and Members,

Further to the notice of our preliminary concern yesterday, the GLAC Committee has decided that, in the interest and precautionary safety afforded to our athletes and their families to cancel this afternoon's Track and Field competition.

We look forward to seeing you and yours at training or next Friday.

🌞🏃‍♂️ Gisborne Little Athletics – Week 7! 🏃‍♀️🌞

Back on the field from the Christmas/Summer break, This Friday for Week 7 kicks off in a some warm conditions!
Athletes will be raring to recommence the season and we are excited to see them break their pre-Christmas PB's and records!🙌 New families are always welcome, so if you’ve been thinking about joining Little Aths, now’s a great time to come along and give it a go!
⚠️ Please note: With extremely hot weather forecasted, there is a chance of cancellation based on LAVIC Hot Weather Policy. We’ll keep everyone updated on Facebook, so please check in on Friday afternoon before heading out.

🌞🏃‍♂️ Gisborne Little Athletics – Week 6! 🏃‍♀️🌞

We’re all set for Week 6 of our Summer Season this Friday, and it’s shaping up to be a great afternoon on the track! The forecast is looking warm, with a 29° afternoon ahead, so it’s a perfect chance to get in some athletics fun before the heat sets in. This is the last competition night for the year! ☀️

Bring your water bottles, hats, and sunscreen — and get ready for more PBs, smiles, and great energy from our athletes! 🙌

WEEK 5 - GLAC - IMPORTANT UPDATE ⛈️

After deliberation from the committee on the forecast of rain, wind and a large storm cell moving through Gisborne at around start time the decision to cancel tonight’s events has been made.
Whilst the nights events may have started off dry the club chose not to risk our 150+ athletes safety once the rain arrives. The safety and comfort of our athletes is the highest priority for our club!
