The Gisborne Masters Football Club caters to individuals in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s who are looking for fun, fitness and friendship. We are an Australian Rules Football club, which encourages participation in the great game on many levels, whether that be socially, or more actively through training or playing a game. The club has now been running for 30 years, and is a member of the Victorian
Country Masters Australian Football League. The Gisborne Masters Football Club is known as a club which embraces the Masters Football philosophy, "Football for Fun". The club gathers at Sankey Reserve, Gisborne every Wednesday at 6:30pm. For those feeling energetic, there is training for around 90 minutes. Training is followed by a BBQ tea, with refreshments available from the licensed Bulldogs bar. In addition to the Wednesday gatherings, the club holds many functions throughout the year for attendence by our Bulldogs families. During the regular season home and away games are played fortnightly. Games are played with modified rules, to lower the risk of injury and minimise the aches and pains.
