⭐️Volunteer of the week - Brad Stacey⭐️
Role: Thursday night meals crew
This week we celebrate Brad Stacey, a true Bell Park Dragon through and through!
Brad’s connection to the club runs deep — from his days as a talented junior and senior footballer to his time as a 1991 premiership player, he’s been part of the green‑and‑white family for decades. His sporting journey at Bell Park also extends to cricket, where he proudly represented Bell Park as a junior before carving out a successful career on the pitch.
The Stacey name is woven into the fabric of Bell Park. Brad’s brothers also pulled on the Dragons jumper, while his parents Doug and Bernice, and wife Kelly have long been dedicated volunteers. That family spirit continues today, with Brad’s daughters Charlotte and Annabelle proudly wearing the green and white on the netball court — and you’ll often spot Brad courtside cheering them on.
These days, Brad is a key part of the Thursday‑nightmeals crew, helping create the welcoming and social atmosphere that makes Bell Park so special. He’s also a regular face at club events — from the Bunnings BBQ and Deakin O week, to lending a hand as goal umpire at the Hanlon Cup.
Brad’s ongoing commitment shows what makes Bell Park unique: past players continuing to give back, keeping the club’s heart beating strong.
Thank you, Brad, for your passion, loyalty, and lifelong dedication to the Dragons. Once a Dragon, always a Dragon!
