A great week of 1:1 coaching with 5 different riders across 3 days at Sydney Motorsport Park during the day - as well as helping with his first ever race, and completing some testing works with during the night time ahead of WorldWCR.

Then it was straight to Phillip Island for another 2 days of 1:1 coaching. Home for 1 day, then we were off to Broadford for a coaching double-header with 50 riders across the two days.

8 days. 3 race tracks. 58 riders through our program 😆

I feel like we haven’t stopped since we touched down in Australia, but this is what we’ve been working hard to build on all year! ✊🏻🤝🏻

10.4 seconds and 240km/hr top speed in 400 metres on the street, on cold tyres on wets, running over painted white lines, with a curve and a braking area of only 200 metres, and 2 outright wins sums up my weekend 🏆😂 My first go at street speed trials at the Geelong Revival and I managed to take the outright win on Saturday and Sunday, and finished 2nd outright in the cars/bikes combined which is pretty cool (was only 0.06 seconds away from the events combined outright win!).

It’s pretty impressive what we made a stock BMW S1000RR do on the streets with nothing but a tune ✅ Top speed of 240km/hr in a 1/4 mile with a curve is not too shabby - by far the scariest thing I’ve done so far in my racing career but was tops fun 😂

(For reference, this is normally a 5km/hr speed limit stretch of road… I’d hate to know how much that speeding fine would’ve been 😂🫣)

The best way to make taylarelph_ ride faster? Chuck my gear on and spin some laps too 😅 A whole lot of training completed on the R7 at go kart tracks lately in Italy, Spain and France!

Utilising go kart tracks for training is a great tool to build bike fitness in a low-risk environment 👏🏻

A big thank you to rst_moto_aus and ogkkabuto / Moto National Accessories who continue to support me in all of my career ventures ✊🏻

WorldWCR season 2 // Constantly learning, adapting and growing as a team and we’re pretty proud of what we have achieved so far.

The fullthrottlecoaching_ Race Team gained a full time mechanic this year, 872auto, which has been great for us as a team. I’ve been able to step away from the spanners and focus primarily on my role as crew chief, suspension & data analysis to get the most out of Tayla!

Our best results so far have consisted of a P6 in Superpole, and a best race finish of P6 - while accumulating 13 more points than we had last year after 2 rounds. It’s a super tough field this year, but our small team are doing everything we can to fight with the larger factory-backed teams! We know Tayla can be there, and we’ll keep working hard to fight our way to the front 🤝

Thank you to our team sponsors this season, making this year possible for us!

What a year it has been! We started the year testing at Phillip Island which then turned to convincing my Dad and Shane to come out of retirement to help me make it to Round 1 of ASBK. We straight away found really good pace and I feel that test was probably the best I had ever ridden in my life.

We arrived to Round one of Asbk with a small family team and 1 bike ready to give it everything - a one last chance kind of deal! Unfortunately, it only lasted until turn 2 in race one as I got taken out by another rider. I had some minor injuries at the time that ruled us out of the weekend, but days later the concussion symptoms set in and for months after the crash I struggled a lot with post concussion syndrome.

Over the last few years the concussions seem to happen more easily and the effects last longer. So this time I decided maybe I do need to step away and actually let my brain heal and for the first time in a long time I’m starting to feel good.

Racing is like a drug, you’re always looking for the next adrenaline hit and you always want more. So Tayla being selected for the WorldWCR gave me the chance to take a new role. Being on a small budget, it wasn’t possible to be backed by a team in Europe so we had to take on the challenge ourselves. In a way, this was perfect for me as I was able to put everything I’ve learnt throughout my years of racing into something new. Diving head first into a new challenge.

The results steadily improved all season as Tayla learned the way and also as my skills developed to understand what she needed and how the bike worked. I did everything I possibly could to learn quickly in this role and give our little Aussie team a chance. I had some really good people behind me on speed dial when I had questions as I’m definitely not scared to ask questions and soak in as much information as possible.

It was great to find a role this season that could still give me that buzz and the drive of working towards a goal. Tayla absolutely rose to the occasion this year pushing her way to be a genuine front runner against some seriously fast and experienced riders.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that backed me at the start of this season and although I am disappointed how my season ended I’m very proud of what myself and Tayla achieved.

All stocked up with RST gear and I’m ready to hit some of these international circuits… I can’t go letting have all the fun this year in Europe… 🤪✊🏻

It was so great to visit the factory in England and meet everyone behind the scenes who have helped me throughout the years! With limited flight weight I wasn’t able to bring any of my gear over to Europe, so a massive thank you to & who kitted me up with leathers with an inbuilt in&motion airbag, boots and gloves, I’m all ready to hit the track and help Tayla with some testing & training ✊🏻

I haven’t properly been on the bike since February after recovering from concussion, so it’s safe to say I’m pretty eager to get back to it… 🔥

Round 2 of the Women’s World Championship and our best one yet at Donington Park, with finishing P6 in Race 2 and jumping herself up to P9 in the World Championship.

Have truly been enjoying my role within the TAYCO Motorsports team as crew chief & mechanic and the challenges it brings finding ways to extract the most out of both the bike, data analysis & Tayla’s performance.

We put in some serious work over the past month and made massive ground in multiple areas since Misano and I think that really showed in the results this weekend. We halved our race time to the leaders from a 48 second gap at Misano down to just a 24 second gap this weekend. The level of the Spanish girls is incredibly fast, but we are putting in the work to be up there with them. It won’t be long ✊🏻✊🏻

Next round is Portimão on the 9th - 11th August 🇵🇹
